Invitation to the 14th Convention in Warren, Ohio News from the 5th Youth Convention in New York 6 September 2006 With many blessings the 5th Youth Convention of the Free Apostolic Church of Pentecost was held on September 2-3 in New York. Brother John Papadelis, pastor of the church in Cleveland with his family and Brother Pete Perialis, elder in the church in Warren were all present accompanied by young brethren from their churches. Testimonies were heard from the youth which touched our hearts and we received strength to continue with the Lord. On Sunday there was a dedication, Nick the newborn son of John Papadelis followed by a baptism. In the end we ate together and glorified the name of the Lord. View Photos Youth Convention in NY August 2 2006 You are all invited to the 5th Pan-American Youth Convention being held in New York. The convention will be held during the Labor Day weekend. Youth from around the United States including Greece will be gathered to glorify our Lord. All are welcome. Visit from Greece May 19-25, 2006 On the way to the Pan-American Convention in Warren, Ohio on Memorial Day weekend, brethren from Greece make their first stop in New York to greet us and to share the good news of the gospel. Our church was full of blessings when our brothers Nick Nikolakopoulos, Elias Karpozilos and Alex Perakis arrived on May 19th. Services were held Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On Monday two brethren were baptized in the Holy Spirit. The brothers continued their journey to Warren, Ohio on Tuesday. On Thursday our beloved brother Kostas Kondilis arrived with his wife Maria from Greece and shared the great news with us. On Friday all the brethren departed from New York to be found in Warren, Ohio to praise our Lord and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Harvest is Plenty But the Workers are Few May 7, 2006 The youth gathered together on Sunday May 7th, after church and spread the good news of Salvation in Astoria. A table was set up with tracts, newspapers and New Testaments outside the church. It was a great blessing to see all four corners of Steinway Street with brothers giving out tracts. This great work of the Lord will continue every first Sunday of the month following our fasting and prayer. 1 2 3 Next>> |
